    Anyone have stomach pain after taking their plaquenil? I took my first dosage on Sunday and my stomach hurt so bad I could hardly stand it. I drank milk but it still hurt. Now I'm scared to take any more. I want to feel better but not at that cost. My wife got severe stomach pains after using plaquenil for her arthritis. The arthritis symptoms were eliminated but the stomach pains became too severe to keep This topic is answered by a medical expert. After just 4 days on Plaquenil, I had severe stomach cramps, no appetite, GERD pain, diarrhea and a migraine. Not sure that the migraine was related but it happened on day 4. After contacting my Rheumatologist, I was told to stop taking the drug. When I asked what other drug I could try, he said nothing -no medicine.

  6. I suspect plaquenil for giving me some episodic diarrhea. I am 100 mg dose and take it with my supper. Did they happen to anyone else and did it eventually stop with the diarrhea side effect? It helps so much with the fatigue and pain. I have a sensitive stomach and perhaps I shouldn't have eaten that salad for lunch yesterday.
